Craighead House hosted its 7th Annual Perennials Exchange on Saturday, April 10. In spite of low temperatures early in the morning, this year’s event was the most successful one we have had by far. Surprised by how many came well before 10:00 a.m. and because it wasn’t exactly warm yet, we started asking people how they found out about it. They gave the following responses in no order or relative frequency:
Facebook
Sign in the yard
Informed by a Master Gardener
Our March email update
The Shoppers Guide
The calendar on our Website
Attendees brought lots of plants to share and one lady handed out packets of milkweed seeds. A volunteer estimated that 60 people came.
